Bill of sale for a "negro girl named Mariah about fourteen years of age" from Emanuel Geiger to Alexander Forsyth for $200. Geiger describes Mariah as "prone to falling fits" and "unsound property, both in body and mind" and is therefore selling her "without any warranty whatever."

The document was possibly produced in South Carolina, as Emanuel Geiger and the witness, George Washington Lorick, lived in that state.
