2 copies of the same page, a public note published by the Honorable Archibald Campbell Fraser of Lovat, (1736-1815), in the Edinburgh advertiser, no. 3188, page 43, advising that whoever hunts, kills, or destroy his deer, game, or fish, will be punished unless that he has his written and sealed license. Also it cautions possible buyers, to no buy if not for the proprietor himself. The Edinburgh Advertiser was a twice-weekly newspaper published in Edinburgh on Tuesday and Friday mornings for almost a century. It ran from 3 January 1764 until 29 March 1859 when it merged with the Edinburgh Evening Courant.
