Circular letter accounting the unanimous resolutions achieved in a meeting of the Freeholders, Commissioners of Supply, Justices of Peace, Heritors and Gentlemen of the County of Inverness, regarding a letter from the Sherif-Depute of Ross-shire, Donald Macleod (1745-1834) reporting of some tumults and seditious acts occurred in his county. The meeting was leaded by Archibald Campbell Fraser of Lovat, (1736-1815), British consul at Tripoli and Algiers, and later colonel of the 1st Inverness local militia.
