- Title:
- Charlene P. Kammerer - "What's Happening to the Family?" (June 20, 1982)
- Description:
-
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 18:32. Sermon end time: (Part 1) 34:01.
Utilizing a definition of family as one’s main support group, Kammerer affirms the (heterosexual) nuclear family as a place where human loneliness is met by God through familial love, but she presses against the idea that there is only one way to do or be family – and, it is through our baptism, that we are a part of Christ’s family; congregants are encouraged to be less judgmental of themselves and others when it comes to family struggles.
