- Title:
- R. Stewart Smith - "Dedicated to What?" (August 1, 1982)
- Description:
-
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 22:00. Sermon end time: (Part 2) 9:21.
By means of a series of stories, the preacher walks through Romans 12:1-2 to illuminate Christian dedication - its motive (gratitude), its measure (a person’s very body), and its meaning (sacrifice). Given the reality that every human faces sacrifice and loss, the preacher implicitly invites hearers to choose to sacrifice for the right kinds of things, viz., to offer their their lives as sacrifices to God.
