  • At the beginning of the school year, Young presents three elements of the call of Levi as the word of God for the congregation today: 1) Jesus comes to us and for us; 2) Jesus says to each one of us, “Follow me”; and 3) we are to obey. In a formal time of response, Young invites the congregation to respond to the call of Jesus by examining where he may be calling them to go and whether or not they are willing to follow all the way.
