- Title:
- Robert T. Young - "A Story of Camels, Needles, and Riches" (October 24, 1982)
- Description:
-
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 33:14. Sermon end time: (Part 2) 8:29.
The preacher gives voice to the general societal longing for spiritual significance expressed in the question, “What must I do to enter eternal life?”; he then explores the reasons it is so difficult for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God, taking care to define wealth broadly so that all present might include themselves in this category. Hearers are, finally, left with encouraging news: entering the kingdom may seem impossible, humanly speaking, but it is possible with God. (Abstract created by Duke Divinity School staff.)
