At this Christmastime, let it be our care and delight | 42:01 | |
to hear again the message of the angels | 42:06 | |
and in heart and mind to go even unto Bethlehem | 42:09 | |
to see this thing which has come to pass, | 42:13 | |
and the babe lying in a manger. | 42:16 | |
Therefore, let us read in Mark in Holy Scripture | 42:20 | |
the tale of the loving purposes of God, | 42:24 | |
from the first days of our disobedience | 42:27 | |
unto His glorious redemption brought us by | 42:30 | |
His holy child. | 42:33 | |
But first, let us pray for the needs of the whole world, | 42:35 | |
for peace on earth and goodwill among all His people. | 42:40 | |
For unity and brotherhood within the church He came to build | 42:44 | |
and especially in this, our diocese. | 42:49 | |
And because this would rejoice His heart, | 42:53 | |
let us remember in His name, the poor and helpless, | 42:56 | |
the cold, the hungry, | 43:02 | |
and the oppressed, | 43:05 | |
the sick and them that mourn, | 43:07 | |
the lonely and the unloved, | 43:10 | |
the aged and the little children. | 43:13 | |
All those who know not the Lord Jesus or who love Him not, | 43:17 | |
or who by sin have grieved His heart of love. | 43:21 | |
Lastly, let us remember before God all those | 43:26 | |
who rejoice with us, | 43:30 | |
but upon another shore and in a greater light, | 43:32 | |
that multitude which no man can number, | 43:35 | |
whose hope was in the Word made flesh | 43:39 | |
and with whom in the Lord Jesus we are one forevermore. | 43:41 | |
These prayers and praises let us humbly offer up | 43:47 | |
to the throne of Heaven | 43:52 | |
in the words which Christ Himself | 43:54 | |
hath taught us. | 43:58 | |
Our Father, which art in Heaven, | 44:00 | |

For He hath regarded the low estate of His handmaiden. | 17:32 | |
For behold, from henceforth all generations | 17:37 | |
shall call me blessed. | 17:41 | |
For He that is mighty hath done to me great things, | 17:44 | |

And His mercy is on them that fear Him | 17:51 | |
