	We gather here to rejoice	4:22
	over the coming of our Lord to this earth,	4:24
	for Christmas happened	4:28
	and Christmas happens right now	4:30
	right here where we are.	4:34
	And so may the spirit of Christ come very close just now	4:39
	to remind us of God's most precious gift to us.	4:43
	May the spirit of Christ come very close just now	4:48
	to bind us to one another with a love that knows no end.	4:52
	May the spirit of Christ come very close just now	4:58
	to draw us ever closer	5:02
	to the God who loves us and comes to us.	5:04
	We gather this night to celebrate a promise,	5:11
	a promise from God in Christ	5:15
	that brings light in the midst of our darkness,	5:18
	hope to those who are in despair,	5:22
	release, pray God,	5:26
	to those who are in captivity,	5:29
	joy to us in the midst of our sorrow,	5:32
	life that overcomes even our death.	5:34
	Yes, we come together tonight to celebrate life,	5:38
	the life that Christ brought and lived,	5:41
	that Christ gives,	5:45
	and that Christ promises forever.	5:46
	This is the time and the occasion	5:50
	to celebrate the good news.	5:52
	My dear friends, I invite you now to join with the choir	5:55
	as we join with all the saints of all the ages to sing,	6:00
	sing and rejoice and celebrate	6:04
	for God is in us,	6:08

	even unto the glorious redemption	13:33
	brought for us by the child.	13:36
	And so now in his spirit and with his love in us,	13:39
	let us offer to God our prayers.	13:44
	O God, we pray for the needs of the whole world,	13:52
	for peace on earth and goodwill among all your people,	13:56
	for unity and understanding	14:02
	within the church Christ came to build.	14:04
	O God, we remember in the name of Christ	14:08
	the poor and helpless,	14:11
	the cold, the hungry, and the oppressed,	14:14
	the sick and those who mourn,	14:18
	the lonely and unloved,	14:21
	the aged and the little children,	14:23
	all those who need love and care and healing and health	14:26
	in this mortal life.	14:31
	And then, O God, we remember all those who rejoice with us	14:34
	in the good news of the coming of the Christ child,	14:38
	that multitude without number,	14:42
	those whose hope is fulfilled in the word made flesh,	14:44
	and all those with whom we are one now and forevermore.	14:48
	Come very near now, O God, and warm our hearts	14:54
	with your divine loving, sustaining presence.	14:58
	We wait as little children to sing and rejoice together.	15:03
	Give us hearts and voices of one sound and mind	15:08
	to receive and to share your love this night	15:13
	and tomorrow and all the tomorrows yet to be.	15:17
	We offer this prayer	15:21
	and the prayer which Christ taught us, saying.	15:23
