Sermon start time: 16:27. Sermon end time: 30:39.
Sermon start time: (Part 1) 16:27. Sermon end time: (Part 1) 30:39.
When the short tax collector, Zacchaeus, ate with Jesus, the man highlighted his good works of charity to Jesus, indicating that he is not as bad and sinful as his fellow Israelites think. Yet Jesus said to him that he was the lost, which completely disqualifies Zacchaeus’ self-righteousness. The preacher reminds his audience that salvation is complete grace from God and it can only be received with humility. (Abstract created by Duke Divinity School staff.)
