Forms part of the Kenneth Willis Clark Collection of Greek Manuscripts (David M. Rubenstein Rare Book & Manuscript Library, Duke University)

Layout: Written in 1 column of 29 lines; barely visible ruling; ruled with a mastara.
Script: An Italianate hand of the middle 1500s. The hand has many characteristics of Harlfinger 19, 34, and 298. The hand is mostly very vertical, but sometimes slants to the left and sometimes in the direction of the flow of the text. For the most part it has a strong vertical profile with letter separation. The hand is fluid with a loose, open appearance.
Decoration: Simple penwork ornamentation used in the headings, the titles, and in the initials, always done in red; mostly they are floriated; ornamentation on fol. 2r, 11v, 30r, 34v, 53r, 57r, 77r, 109r, and 139r.

The manuscript includes the first six books of On the life in Christ (Patrologiae Graeca 150, 493-684) and Against Usurers (PG 150, 727) by Cabasilas; with Elementary introduction to the Orthodox Faith (PG 95, 100), Concerning the two wills in Christ (PG 95, 128-185), Letter to the Archimandrite Jordanes about the Parisee (PG 95, 21-61) and First treaty agains the iconoclasts (PG 94, 1232), Against Acephalus concerning the composition of nature (PG 95, 113-125), On divine images I (PG 94, 1232-1284), and On divine images III (PG 94, 1319-1422) by St. John of Damascus, and the Commentary on the Song of Songs by Nilus of Ancyra.
Binding: Dark brown calf over pasteboard; blind stamped with central arabesque on both covers; ruled frame, and original red linen ties, now wanting.
