Layout: Written in 1 column of 15 lines; burnished, using ruling board.
Script: Two hands are represented: one for the liturgies of Saints Chrysostom and Basil, identified as Lucas (Buzau), and one for the liturgy of the Presanctified. Scribe I: Open minuscule hand in black ink, leaning to the right; occasional flourishes into margin; ornamental initials and liturgical instructions in very reddish orange; colophon identifies scribes as Lucas Archierus, or Lucas Buzau. Scribe II: Squarish hand in dark brown ink, leaning slightly to the left; pendant, but bottom line of characters very flat, including alpha, nun, rho, upsilon, and phi; frequent ligatures and occasional flourishes into margin. Ornamental initials and liturgical instructions in deep red.
Decoration: Initials on first leaf of each liturgy appear in color, others in red. fol. 2r: fectangular ornamental headpiece (48 x 80 mm) of strapwork in gilt with strong blue background and very reddish orange accents, with floriate designs extending diagonally from each corner. fol. 29r: rectangular ornamental headpiece (28 x 78 mm) of rinceaux forming two horizontal heart shapes in gilt, background in blue, with five floriate designs in blue, red, and strong pink, outlined in gilt, extending outward: one from each corner and one from the center of the head. fol. 71r: rectangular ornamental headpiece (42 x 80 mm) of interlacing rinceau in gilt with two counterbalanced fleurs de lis at the center, deep red and darkish greenish-blue accents, border in gilt surrounded by red minims along head and sides, with a fleur-de-lis in red and greenish-blue extending diagonally from each corner.

Binding: Contemporary calf over stiffened card, sewn on raised cords, stamped in gilt with Crucifixion on front, Virgin and Child on back, both within sunburst surrounded by floriate spirals and double-border. Originally four clasps: two on fore edge, one at head, one at foot. Remnants of at least two leaves of Hebrew script behind pastedown inside lower cover.
